I am having trouble writing a description for this post, because I am certain that my words cannot begin to adequately describe how incredible and heavenly and epic this wedding truly was. For those of us who had the privilege of attending, we all know that there was something beyond the amazing decor and lovely details that made this day so powerful, so spiritual, so different. Yes, the redwood trees were epic, but that is not what I am talking about either. At the center of this perfect dream wedding day, there were two people — Crystina & Eathan — and at the center of Crystina and Eathan’s life is one passion… one focus… one conviction that rules their lives together and apart; God is good and His love endures forever. What this couple believes and embodies left a mark on each of our lives that day. My hope is that these pictures somehow capture what was unseen that day — but is actually more real and present than anything in these photos. C&E, thank you so much for inviting us into your story. Many blessings on your life together! Love, C&A

The first time I met Caitlin & Jacob, I knew that they would be a couple I would enjoy hanging out with. Down-to-earth, friendly, sincere and FUN! We met at Starbucks to get some coffee before their engagement session, and it was like meeting up with old friends. Maybe it was the caffeine coursing through our veins, but I had such a blast with them during their session! It was great to get to know them and hear some of their story. But here is the best part… at the end of the session, Jacob opened the trunk of his car (don’t worry… this isn’t about to get sketchy). He had boxes of books that he was looking to give away or lend out, books he had read and enjoyed but was wanting to pass on to others. It just so happened that half of the books were from two of my favorite authors… C.S. Lewis and Tim Keller. Let’s just say I have some serious reading to do before their wedding in August! I’ve already finished “Counterfeit Gods” by Keller, and it rocked my world. Thanks, Jacob! Glad to call you guys friends, and can’t wait for the wedding! Blessings, Chris
